Robert T. Ceccoli, 75, of the Lincoln Heights section of Taylor, died Friday at Moses-Taylor Hospital. His wife of 38 years, Christine M. Ceccoli, died on January 30, 2004. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Thomas and Irene Dobrydeney Ceccoli. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, he was a former member of St. John the Baptist Church, West Scranton, an Army veteran, serving as a SP-5 in Germany with Headquarters Co., 611th Aircraft Maintenance Bn. 3rd Army. Robert retired as an electrical repairman for the Tobyhanna Army Depot, was a member of American Legion Kosciuszko Post 207, the AFL-CIO, and the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Kane and husband Tim, Linthicum, MD, one granddaughter, Chelsie White, Glen Burnie, MD, one brother, Gary Ceccoli, Scranton. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 10 am, by Rev. Stephen Krowantka, St. Patrick’s Parish, officiating in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Interment will follow with Military Honors in Cathedral Cemetery. Viewing for family and friends will be on Tuesday, 4 to 7 pm in the funeral home.
