Thomas Williams, 80, of Tunkhannock, passed away peacefully on Monday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. His wife of 59 years is the former Verona Hollister. Born in Scranton, he is the son of the late Sylvester and Margaret Williams. Thomas was a 1958 graduate of Scranton Technical High School and a graduate of Johnson School of Technology and worked as a machinist in industrial maintenance for Moore Business Forms, Honesdale and RR Donnelly, Lewisburg, from where he retired. Thomas was a musician and played with the Crystal Band. Blessed with a great sense of humor, he enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling and home improvement projects. Along with his wife Verona, he is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Davis and husband Kurt, Lake Ariel, Shari Morris, Scranton, Margaret “Peg” Williams, Scranton, one son, Daniel Williams and wife Kathy, Dunmore, nine grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Comstock. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Edward J.
